JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars played the Chicago Bears even in the first half before getting blown out in the second half. Chicago’s defense shut down Jacksonville and returned two interceptions for touchdowns in the games final 30 minutes. The Bears scored 38 unanswered points in the second half as they won 41-3.
Robbie Gould scored the first points of the game when he made a 32 yard field goal for Chicago in the first quarter. Jacksonville’s Josh Scobee kicked a 31 yard field goal to tie the game in the second quarter. It would be the Jaguars only points of the game. Gould would put the Bears ahead for good in the third quarter with a 31 yard field goal.

Bengals Stop Jaguars 27-10

JACKSONVILLE – It was supposed to be a memorable day in the Jacksonville Jaguars’ history as they honored Fred Taylor who joined the Pride of the Jaguars. It was the most Jaguars fans would have to celebrate. The Cincinnati Bengals easily beat Jacksonville 27-10.
Blaine Gabbert hooked up with Mercedes Lewis on a two yard touchdown pass for the Jaguars only lead in the game early in the second quarter. Gabbert would pass for 186 yards for the day throwing one interception to go along with his touchdown pass. The Bengals defense sacked Gabbert a half a dozen times. The Jaguars did not have success rushing the ball as Maurice Jones-Drew was held to only 38 yards rushing.
